This position is eligible for a $500.00 hiring/retention bonus! $100 Monthly Perfect Attendance Award Off at NOON every FRIDAY!
Hours:
M-Th 6:00am - 3:15pm, Fri 6:00am - 12:00pm
Starting Pay:
$17.00/hour & up, based on experience
Summary :
Perform detailed inspection on all products including line inspections, and ESD monitoring. Responsibilities/ Principal Duties Recognize and read values, polarity, and orientation of thru-hole and SMT components i.e. capacitors, resistors, transistors, IC's etc. A complete understanding of the
IPC-A-610
Class 2 standards. Utilize inspection-gauging equipment to meet customer and IPC standards. Identify and read customer supplied assembly drawing for referencing component polarity, orientation, and reference designators. Utilize a bill of materials to identify customer part numbers for inspection requirements and values. Periodic spot checks to ensure that all personnel are following ESD procedures. Can identify SMT and thru-hole packages including MELF's, SOT's, PLCC's etc. Performs other duties as assigned. Interpersonal Skills Takes responsibility for the quality of one's individual work. Demonstrates accuracy and neatness in their work. Cooperative and dependable, highly motivated, and trustworthy. Respects and works effectively with fellow team members. Will notify team leader if team is not following quality processes. Will present new ideas and improvements to team leader. Education :
High School Diploma or GED.
Experience :
Previous 2- 3 years' experience necessary.
Physical/Cognitive Requirements :
Work is performed in a manufacturing environment, with frequent contact with others; Requires prolonged standing, sitting, frequent bending, stooping, and stretching; Manual dexterity is crucial in the placement and handling of small components. Good eyesight is necessary for performing detailed tasks. Occasional lifting will be required.
Waiver :
An applicant may fill this position without meeting all qualifications, with management review and approval of the Owners Group.
Equipment :
Knowledge of and skills in the use of gauging and measuring tools.
Work Environment :
Job functions will be performed in and around production.
Internal Contacts :
This position will interface with all areas of the manufacturing workforce and management team.
