This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in accuracy, consistency, and producing high-quality work. In this role, you'll be responsible for inspecting manufactured components, verifying specifications, maintaining quality documentation, and working closely with production teams to ensure products meet both internal and customer requirements. What You'll Do Inspect and test manufactured parts for cosmetic, dimensional, and functional quality . Use precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, calipers, profilometers, and CMM inspection results . Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and critical product features . Review and verify CMM printouts and identify dimensional discrepancies. Clean and properly handle precision components to prevent contamination or damage. Perform laser engraving of parts according to specifications. Accurately record inspection results, certifications, measurements, and critical features. Maintain quality records and ensure proper document control. Review production routers and documentation for accuracy throughout the inspection process. Identify quality issues and prepare non-conformance reports (NCRs) when necessary. Print and scan barcode labels, shipping documentation, and other required paperwork. Verify packaging meets both internal standards and customer requirements. Follow established critical control points and preventive quality measures. Assist with internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives . Support corrective and preventive action activities ( CAPA ). Communicate quality concerns clearly with production, manufacturing, and office teams. Work with internal and external customers to resolve quality-related concerns when needed. Participate in new product/program launches and process improvement activities. Support additional activities related to the company's Quality Management System (QMS) . What We're Looking ForEducation & Experience High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree in Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Quality, or a related field is a plus. 2-3 years of experience in a manufacturing, inspection, or quality environment preferred. Understanding of manufacturing quality principles and continuous improvement practices. Skills & Abilities Strong attention to detail and sound judgment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, specifications, and dimensional requirements . Experience using precision measuring equipment such as micrometers and calipers . Familiarity with CMM inspection reports and other measurement/test equipment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to accurately document inspection results and maintain quality records. Basic computer proficiency for documentation, data entry, and recordkeeping. Ability to work independently while contributing to a team-oriented manufacturing environment. Strong follow-through and commitment to quality. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50 pounds , with or without reasonable accommodation. Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and perform hands-on inspection activities. Visual acuity sufficient to inspect precision components and identify cosmetic and dimensional concerns, with or without corrective lenses. Why This Opportunity?
