Position Summary The Shipping & Receiving Clerk - Order & Pallet Audit is responsible for auditing outbound orders and inbound receipts to ensure accuracy, packaging integrity, and compliance with shipping standards. This role verifies pallet configuration, labeling, and load securement to prevent damage, shortages, and customer claims. Key Responsibilities

• Audit outbound orders for correct SKUs, quantities, and documentation prior to shipment.
• Inspect pallet builds for proper stacking, weight distribution, and stability.
• Verify packaging integrity including stretch wrap, strapping, corner boards, and pallet condition.
• Confirm shipping labels, carton labels, and documentation accuracy.
• Audit inbound receipts for visible damage, count accuracy, and packaging condition.
• Document and report discrepancies, damages, or non-compliance issues.
• Coordinate with shipping, receiving, and warehouse leads to resolve issues.
• Assist with rework, repalletization, or corrective actions as required. Quality & Compliance Responsibilities
• Ensure compliance with customer-specific packaging and pallet standards.
• Support continuous improvement efforts to reduce shipping errors and damages.
• Maintain audit logs and inspection records as required. Equipment & Tools Used
• Warehouse Management System (WMS) or shipping software
• RF scanners
• Pallet jacks and hand trucks
• Forklifts or reach trucks (certification required)
• Packaging and inspection tools Safety Responsibilities
• Follow all warehouse safety policies and PPE requirements.
• Ensure pallets and loads are safe to move prior to transport.
• Report unsafe conditions, damaged pallets, or hazards immediately. Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous shipping, receiving, or quality audit experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation accuracy.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a warehouse environment.

Pay:

$20.00 - $21.00 per hour Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
