Full Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Performs tasks of medium complexity, this position requires the individual to be trained and qualified to perform the job under the Food Safety Modernization Act. Performs assigned technical tasks/duties associated with department processes and procedures. Process Control Quality Verification Checks during Scaling, Make-Up and Packaging Operation. Conduct GMP and Food Safety Self-Inspection. Compare test results and disseminate information as required. Follow recordkeeping procedures, entering records timely/promptly in the computer for all reports: Hold, FM, Finished Product Evaluation, out-of-specification report, Environmental. Compare test results with current specifications and advice supervisory and production personnel of problems and/or out-of-code situations. Make recommendations as to cause and resolution of problem. Evaluate results and independently ensure accuracy before alerting supervisory and production personnel. Follow proper inventory maintenance of necessary chemicals and equipment, make out orders for timely replacement or repair. Work with production on solution to problems, including audit of quality performance by operators. Maintain high standard of cleanliness and housekeeping in the QA work area. Perform special tests and projects related to the operation as required. Assists others in the organization on matters of a technical nature as required Provides technical and decision-making support and data in managing situations and issues relative to quality and/or food safety as necessary Responsible for reporting any food safety, quality and legality issues to supervision. Performs other duties as assigned by management.Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED required; College degree preferred. Minimum 3 years related work experience. Basic computer skills and working knowledge of MS Office Suite - Excel, Word, Outlook Use of Scales, pH meter, moisture analyzer, thermometer calibrator, Basic math skills of addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages. Ability to interpret graphs and read measurements. Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Basic microbial knowledge helpful.Physical Environment:

Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds regularly. Standing:
Ability to stand for extended periods during the work shift. Manual Dexterity:
Ability to handle and operate controls, tools, and machinery. Mobility:
Ability to move freely throughout the plant and work in a fast-paced environment. Working Environment Environment:
Industrial bakery setting with exposure to hot and cold temperatures, loud machinery, and the smell of baked goods. Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP): Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, hairnets, and safety glasses must be worn as required.Pay:
