Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Part Time Secondary Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. Duties Operate secondary manufacturing machinery such as CNC machines, stamping presses, press brake machines, CNC lathes, and milling machines with precision and attention to detail Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and production documents to set up and run equipment accurately Conduct dimensional measurements using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure product specifications are met Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain production flow Assist with materials handling, packaging, and assembly line tasks as needed to support overall manufacturing operations Follow safety standards rigorously by adhering to shop safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) Maintain accurate records of machine settings, measurements, and production data for quality assurance purposes Skills Proficiency with Fanuc controls, CNC programming, CAM programming, and interpreting G-code for machining operations Experience operating CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, stamping presses, press brakes, and other industrial equipment Strong understanding of mechanical blueprint reading and fabrication techniques Familiarity with SolidWorks CAD software for part design review and modifications Knowledge of factory safety standards in production environments including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) principles Ability to use hand tools such as calipers, micrometers, and shop math for precise measurements Basic forklift operation skills for materials handling within the manufacturing facility Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot technical issues efficiently Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control and dimensional accuracy Experience interpreting technical drawings and production documents accurately in a manufacturing setting Join our team as a Part Time Secondary Machine Operator and become an integral part of our innovative manufacturing process.
