Full Job Description Job Description Quality Assurance Technician:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
include the following but are not limited to: Performs highly diversified first piece, shop floor sampling, final inspection and Statistical Process Control operations. Completes a wide variety of QA activities. Knows application of work pieces, plans and schedules inspection procedures for others, makes decisions on allowable variations exercising considerable judgment relative to acceptability of pieces compared to standards. Devises gaging and measuring set-ups. Checks calibration of instruments and maintains documentation for variety of QA areas. May assist production operators in determining reasons for defects. Able to assist customers with quality issues.
QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent 5-10 years of experience in a precision machining environment. Quality assurance in automotive and
TS 16949/IATF
background a plus. Ability to comprehend blueprints and use applicable measuring devices including SPC. Ability and willingness to cross-train
