Job Description NDT Technician - Visual Inspector (2nd Shift)

Mentor, OH

2nd Shift | 2:30 PM - 10:30 PM Join a Team Where Quality Matters We are seeking a detail-oriented and dependable NDT Technician / Visual Inspector to join our manufacturing team in Mentor, Ohio. In this role, you'll play a critical part in ensuring our castings meet customer specifications and quality standards before moving to the next stage of production. What You'll Do

Inspection & Quality Assurance

Perform visual inspections of castings to verify compliance with customer and quality requirements.

Identify defects and determine disposition of parts based on established specifications.

Route nonconforming parts to the appropriate finishing operations for rework when necessary.

Hold and classify rejected parts for review and disposition.

Interpret and apply inspection criteria and specifications provided by the Quality Department.

Production Support

Meet established productivity and efficiency standards.

Accurately document inspection activities and work performed.

Maintain quality records and support production reporting requirements.

Safety & Workplace Organization

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Follow all company safety policies and procedures.

Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.

Additional Responsibilities

Support department goals and continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

Qualifications

Required

Minimum of 1 year of visual inspection or grain inspection experience in:

Investment casting

Aerospace manufacturing

Foundry operations

Similar industrial manufacturing environments

Ability to read and interpret customer specifications and quality requirements.

Basic computer skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Preferred

High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience inspecting aircraft or investment cast components.

Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards and inspection processes.
