Job Description
The Quality Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, documenting, and validating pressure switches, pressure transmitters, and related electro-mechanical products to ensure compliance with customer specifications, engineering drawings, quality standards, and regulatory requirements. This position works closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Production personnel to verify product quality throughout the manufacturing process and support continuous improvement initiatives. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections of pressure switches, pressure transmitters, sensors, and electro-mechanical assemblies. Conduct functional testing and calibration of pressure switches and transmitters using approved test procedures and equipment. Verify products conform to engineering drawings, specifications, work instructions, and quality requirements. Review manufacturing documentation for completeness and compliance. Perform First Article Inspections (FAI) and support customer quality audits. Document inspection and test results accurately and maintain quality records. Identify, document, and report non-conforming materials and products. Assist in root cause investigations and corrective action activities. Verify that manufacturing and testing procedures are being followed throughout the production process. Support calibration programs for inspection, measurement, and test equipment. Participate in internal audits and continuous improvement initiatives. Work closely with Engineering to validate product performance and investigate quality issues. Assist in developing inspection plans, test procedures, and quality documentation. Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
