Job Description
Our clients in Mentor, Willoughby & Wickliffe, OH are seeking skilled QC Technicians The Quality Control Technician is responsible for inspecting, testing, and monitoring products and processes to ensure compliance with company standards, customer requirements, and regulatory guidelines. This role supports quality initiatives by identifying defects, documenting findings, and collaborating with production teams to maintain product quality. Key Responsibilities Perform inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods. Verify compliance with specifications, quality standards, and procedures. Record and maintain accurate quality documentation and test results. Identify nonconforming materials or products and report findings to appropriate personnel. Assist with root cause investigations and corrective actions. Calibrate and maintain quality testing equipment as required. Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to quality requirements. Participate in audits and quality improvement initiatives. Follow all safety, environmental, and GMP/company policies and procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree or technical training preferred. Previous quality control, metals/sheet metal manufacturing, laboratory, or inspection experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret specifications, procedures, and technical documents. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Basic computer skills, including data entry and reporting. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
