Temp To Full-Time Quality Inspector - PCB/Electronics Manufacturing Position Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Inspector to join our electronics manufacturing team. This position is responsible for inspecting bare circuit boards, printed circuit board (PCB) assemblies, subassemblies, and related products to ensure compliance with IPC standards, customer specifications, and internal quality requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience in electronics manufacturing, strong attention to detail, and the ability to identify and communicate quality concerns before products move to the next stage of production. Key Responsibilities Inspect bare circuit boards, PCB assemblies, and subassemblies to IPC standards and customer requirements. Read and interpret customer drawings, specifications, bills of materials (BOMs), manufacturing orders, and related documentation. Identify component, solder, assembly, and workmanship defects and communicate findings to production personnel for immediate corrective action. Verify material conformance to specifications and applicable quality standards. Ensure all required rework and repairs meet acceptance criteria before product release. Create and maintain inspection plans, logs, reports, and quality records. Escalate quality issues and keep supervisors informed of unresolved or potential production concerns. Inspect all work to quality standards before releasing it to the next operation. Follow ISO, AS9100, IPC, and internal quality procedures and work instructions. Support production teams and assist with other departmental assignments as needed. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment. Minimum Qualifications Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen must have HS Diploma or GED Technical experience in quality inspection, electronics manufacturing, or a related field. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and manufacturing documentation. Strong attention to detail and accurate documentation skills. Ability to work independently while following established procedures. Preferred Qualifications IPC-A-610 and/or
IPC/WHMA-A-620
certification, or the ability to obtain certification. Experience inspecting PCB assemblies, electronic assemblies, and subassemblies. Experience using microscopes, magnification equipment, or inspection software. Familiarity with ISO and AS9100 quality systems. Physical Requirements Ability to move between workstations throughout the facility. Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during the workday. Ability to lift or team lift up to 25 pounds.
