Job Description

STS Group is a globally leading supplier of components and systems for the commercial vehicle and automotive industries headquartered in France. The Adler Pelzer Group, a global Tier 1 supplier recently acquired STS group to expand its target market. STS is pioneering operations of Class A surface components for the heavy trucks in the USA. We are seeking a motivated and committed Quality Manager to help launch a manufacturing facility in Salem, Virginia. The Quality Manager ensures quality standards are met during the manufacturing process. The following are the major duties and responsibilities of the
Quality Technician:
Complete Receiving Inspection per Work Instructions. Test realization of pellet specific gravity Tests realization of Melt flow rate Prepare material test reports Assurance the Check Fixture Usage Maintain Calibrations per QSI Calibration database. Provide maintenance to Check fixture devices Perform of Scrap Entry-Reporting Complete testing per Work Instructions. Completes forms, recording, evaluating and reporting quality and reliability data. Assist in training new operators to WI's and customer specification requirements. Overtime is sometimes required which may include weekends. Adhere to
ISO 14001
requirements Adhere to ISO 9001 and
IATF 16949
requirements Adhere to Customer Specific requirements Execution of layered process audits Complete Receiving Inspection per Work Instructions.
