Position Overview A Quality Assurance Specialist's job entails being an expert in communicating with individual customers and business customers by responding to customer feedback on tire performance. Quality Assurance Specialist communicates via fax, telephone, or email. Quality Assurance Specialist also conducts follow-up communication with individual customers and business customers. Quality Assurance Specialist will also coordinate with our logistics and outside sales department to achieve customer satisfaction. 2. Quality Assurance Specialist Essential Duties and Responsibilities 1) Customer Response & Communication Management 1-1. Customer Communication a. Verify and collect information related to customer complaints b. Provide customer support regarding OE/RE Warranty policy details c. Handle customer complaints and follow up action (Warranty, Performance, Credit Memo, etc.) d. Respond to general customer inquiries 1-2.
Customer Satisfaction Management:
Conduct tire customer satisfaction surveys (Offline visits) 2) OE/RE Issue Management 2-1. RE Customer Complaint Handling a. Evaluate and determine warranty eligibility for customer complaints b. Enter customer complaint details and evaluation data into QMS c. Manage and track complaint intake status 2-2. OE Customer Complaint Handling a. Receive and respond to customer complaints b. Manage customer requirements and timelines 3) QMS & Data Management a. Analyze QMS Data b. Analyze customer complaint trends 4) Quality & Technical Responsibilities a. Collect and analyze returned tires related to customer complaints b. Conduct Road Force measurements on tires 3. Quality Assurance Specialist Responsibility and Decision-making Authority 1. Accurately assess whether customer requirements and requests are being fulfilled 2. Authority to authorize reimbursement to isolated issues 3. Maintain product quality and related documentation a. Maintaining and expanding the QMS database of customer feedback on products and services b. Quality contact for OEM customer (including Sub-assembly) on quality issues Timely c. Work with local and global teams to understand/resolve any conflict or quality-related Issues d. Review and analyze quality data to identify risk and improve quality target e. Manage field OEM complaints 4. Timely and Successful completion of problem solving from an early stage a. Respond promptly to customer complaints to minimize dissatisfaction 4. Quality Assurance Specialist Position Requirements 1. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively over the phone 2. Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment 3. Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and time management skills 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint 5. Proven ability to work independently in a self-directed, fast-paced environment 6. Professional customer service skills, with the ability to respond to inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and courteous manner 7. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve service delivery 8. Strong follow-up skills to ensure customer satisfaction and issue resolution 9. Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required 10. Prior experience in customer service, warranty, or call center environments preferred 11. Creative thinking and analytical ability to support continuous improvement initiatives 5.
Qualifications :
1. Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality assurance (Tire industry experience preferred) 2. No restrictions on domestic and international travel; ability to travel for business as needed 3. Valid driver's license preferred 4. A bachelor's degree is required; degrees in Mechanical, Chemical, or Automotive Engineering are preferred. Prior customer service experience required 5. Proven project management experience preferred 6. Spanish language skills preferred 7. Microsoft Office Specialist certification preferred Relocation not available.
Remark :
Travel Requirements; 25% occasionally on short notice. Work hours 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. or 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
