Job Description
Company Description Aviation Component Solutions (ACS) is a leading supplier of OEM alternative parts. We prioritize creating value for our customers by offering competitive pricing and utilizing various methods such as next day delivery, eCommerce solutions, data management technology, and advanced manufacturing/design. All ACS parts are FAA-PMA approved. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Inspector at Aviation Component Solutions located in Richmond Heights, OH. The Quality Inspector will be responsible for conducting inspections, ensuring adherence to quality control standards, and implementing quality management systems. The role involves performing analytical tasks and providing feedback to improve quality assurance procedures. Qualifications Quality Control and Quality Assurance skills Experience in conducting open layout inspections and implementing quality management systems Experience with QMS software CMM programming and operation proficiency (Zeiss Calypso familiarity preferred) Highly proficient with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) Strong analytical skills Attention to detail and ability to spot defects or issues Excellent communication and documentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Knowledge of FAA regulations and standards is a plus Experience in the aviation industry is a plus Education Bachelor's/Associate's degree or Certificate in mechanical engineering or other engineering technology strongly desired
