Job Description

Hiring for 1st Shift and 2nd
Shift Job Summary:
Quality Assurance Technicians are responsible for guaranteeing the quality of our products and services.
Responsibilities:
Verify that we are producing a SAFE and
HIGH-QUALITY
product Verify employees are following all plant GMP's. Verify that product specifications are being followed at all times through hourly line inspections. Complete all necessary daily paperwork. Always communicate with Quality Director, Food Safety Manager and/or QA supervisor on how line is running, and every time product is out of specification. Communicate with line operators and supervisors on quality of product being ran. Perform scale and probe calibrations daily. Perform any laboratory work required for each product (FFA, fat testing, etc.) Pull micro samples customer specifications. Shipping/Receiving inspections and releases. (Backup to this position is other QA techs, QA Supervisor.)

Basic math skills Ability to train Ability to work weekends Good communications skills- bilingual a plus Great organizational skills Attention to detail Good attendance
Education and Experience:
QA Tech Qualifications/Competencies Physical Requirements:
Must be able to work in in variable room temperatures 10 F - 100 F. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times.
