Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Technician to perform in-process inspections, quality testing, product verification, and documentation in a food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of quality assurance experience and strong attention to detail. Key Responsibilities Inspect and approve in-process products, finished products, and packaging. Monitor product specifications, packaging integrity, and production quality standards. Verify equipment cleanliness following sanitation procedures. Monitor and verify Critical Control Points (CCPs) , including labels, X-ray systems, and metal detectors. Perform quality testing using laboratory equipment and established procedures. Conduct ingredient mix and "pick tests" when required. Collect and maintain retention samples. Review records and documentation prior to product release. Complete quality-related data entry and maintain accurate records. Monitor production areas for compliance with quality and food safety procedures. Communicate quality standards and assist with coaching and enforcement of policies. Support investigations and report quality issues to the Quality Manager. Attend required meetings and training sessions. Assist with team coverage and other duties as assigned. Qualifications 2+ years of Quality Assurance experience required. Experience in food manufacturing or a similar production environment preferred. Knowledge of quality control procedures, inspections, and testing. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to accurately document and enter quality data. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced production environment. Comfortable working overnight shifts and required overtime.
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
