Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Documentation Coordinator to support quality and shipping operations in a manufacturing environment. This position will be responsible for maintaining accurate documentation, preparing quality packets, tracking inspection equipment, entering information into company systems, and following up to ensure items are inspected, certified, and returned on schedule. The ideal candidate will have strong computer and Excel skills, excellent organizational abilities, and experience working with databases and detailed records. A background in quality, shipping, logistics, or manufacturing is preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and maintain quality documentation and inspection packetsTrack gauges and other inspection equipment to ensure they are inspected, certified, and returned when requiredRecord inspection results and related information accurately into company systemsEnter, update, and maintain data in databases and Excel spreadsheetsTrack items and follow up with internal departments and outside resources as neededPull and organize information from databases and other systemsMaintain accurate records and documentation for quality and shipping activitiesAssist with shipping-related tracking and documentationWork on the manufacturing floor at times to gather information, verify items, and support quality processesEnsure documentation is complete, accurate, and up to dateCommunicate with various departments to resolve discrepancies and obtain needed informationPerform general data entry and administrative support related to quality operations
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalentPrevious experience in quality, shipping, logistics, manufacturing, or a similar environment preferredStrong computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft ExcelExperience working with databases and computerized record-keeping systemsStrong data entry and organizational skillsExcellent attention to detail and accuracyAbility to track multiple items and follow up to ensure completionAbility to pull, review, and organize informationStrong communication and follow-up skillsComfortable working both in an office environment and occasionally on the manufacturing floorAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
