Job Description
Dutch Creek Foods is the wholesale division of the Der Dutchman Family of Restaurants. We make and supply delicious baked goods to our Dutchman Hospitality restaurants in Ohio, Florida and Indiana. Dutch Creek Foods also provides other restaurants throughout Amish Country with baking ingredients for their recipes. If you're looking for a position in food production, we want you on our team.

Based on Experience Our team members enjoy: Free buffet/salad bar lunches DHG Discounts- merchandise/lodging/shows for staff Annual vacation bonus Wooden Nickels On-the-job training Flexible schedules Scholarship program What you'll be doing Prepare fry pies for frying according to production schedules Operate commercial fryers safely and efficiently Monitor fryer oil temperature and product cook times to ensure consistent quality Turn, remove, and drain fry pies at the appropriate time Inspect products for proper color, texture, fill, and overall appearance Apply glazes, toppings, or finishing ingredients as required Package finished products according to company specifications Filter, clean, and maintain fryer oil following company procedures Maintain a clean and organized work area Follow GMP's, food safety, HACCP, and sanitation requirements Accurately record production counts and required documentation Report equipment issues, quality concerns, or food safety risks to supervision Assist with production changeovers and other bakery duties as assigned Qualifications Previous bakery, food manufacturing, or fryer experience preferred but not required Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment Basic math and counting skills Strong attention to detail and product quality Ability to follow written and verbal instructions Job Type Full-time or Part-time position, day shift 7:00am•3:00pm, Monday•Friday On-the-job training provided Benefits• Medical insurance and HSA 401(k) plan with match Wellness Program Dental, Vision, Accident, Life, Critical Illness, Term Life Insurance available Medial and supplemental insurances are available for employees who work at least 30 hours/week.
