Job Description
Description Quality Inspector Overview:
The quality inspector follows general inspection guidelines to conduct visual, dimensional and functional inspections on a wide variety of mechanical and electrical parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies during the receiving, in-process and final inspection process.- Inspects mechanical and electrical parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies during receiving, in process, and final inspections.
- Responsible for identification, documentation, and securing of nonconforming parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies & submissions to the Material Review Board (MRB) for disposition.
- Generates and follows up on internal and/or supplier corrective action requests.
- Responsible for filing and record keeping of quality records.
- Focuses on continuous improvement and consistently demonstrates good business judgment.
- Works effectively with all internal departments, customers, and Regulatory Agencies to exceed internal and external expectations for customer satisfaction.
- Provides inspection feedback to suppliers and other departments to improve quality.
- Assures compliance to customer, Statutory, and Regulatory Agency (FAA, EASA,ITAR, etc...) regulations.
- Generating necessary inspection data sheets and documentation for recording and reporting of inspection results.
- Performance of First Article Inspection (FAI) and generation/review of documentation of FAI results in accordance with
SAE AS9102.

- PPAP experience (PFMEA, Control Plans, Characteristic Matrix, Gage Capability, Process Capability, Process Flow)
- SAP (ERP System) experience

- $31.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
