This position is responsible for the testing of materials for both internal and external customers. The main duty of the Quality Control Lab Technician I/II is to inspect finished goods, work in process and raw materials (new and those for extensions) for general workmanship and tolerances per specifications. Interact and communicate effectively with production, planning, customer service, and other support groups as needed.

SHIFT:

2:00am - 10:30am Sunday through Thursday.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Perform standard evaluation and testing of batch samples from production and R D Good verbal and written communication skills Be dependable, ability to multi-task, productive and high-quality workmanship Learn and follow established protocols Maintain accurate records of results Perform regular lab verifications and calibrations Interact with Production personnel to ensure successful products Assist in Environmental testing

GC-GC/MS

experience - sample preparation and data analysis Operate lab equipment: Refractive Index, Specific Gravity, Sensory, Data Analysis, Other lab equipment and testing as needed Responsible for adding waste to a satellite accumulation container, labeling, sampling, analyzing, and transporting hazardous waste. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's Degree within a science related field preferred; Associate's Degree with equivalent experience in a laboratory or similar industry experience.
