With our passion, creativity, and innovation, "We capture what moves". We have an immediate opening for an experienced Quality Manager at our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Woodlawn, OH . The Quality Manager will provide expertise in production technology, understanding the impact of processing conditions and raw material profile on finish product quality. This position will oversee the Quality Lab working closely with the production team and end-use customers.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with internal team to ensure verification of test procedures performed and determine additional in process and/ or end-user required to achieve / ensure acceptable quality. Work with internal team developing incoming raw material testing protocol and correlating data to variations in process outputs and finished product quality. Work with global internal teams to review, negotiate and accept customer and vendor specifications and ensure requirements are met. Oversee day-to-day operation of Quality Control Lab ensuring processes and training are in place to evaluate incoming raw material and manufactured finished products against internal and customer specifications and expectations. Make objective decisions concerning the approval of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products. Manage CAPA program for internal and customer non-conformances and complaints, including root cause findings, corrective actions and required internal and external communications. Collect and monitor quality data to identify out of control trends or deviations from normal quality/process control limits. Ensure all quality related documents and/or records per internal/external requirements are properly maintained. Other duties as assigned by management. Every employee is expected to participate in education/training about MANE's environmental commitments and then actively apply this to job-related and job-specific roles and responsibilities. Management will support and facilitate education, training, and action within their teams to effectively and adequately implement environmental policies, procedures and practices, as well as promote continual improvement consistent with environmental objectives.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's Degree required. Degrees in Chemistry, Engineering, or Food Science, preferred. Minimum of 10 years' experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance. Experience working with encapsulation products is preferred. Basic knowledge of lab instrumentation preferred. Sensory experience preferred Computer literate with familiarity with PC-based software.
