Job Description
Huntington Ingalls Industries, Mission Technologies Division (HII-MT) is seeking an Inventory / Stock Technician to oversee stock of electronic, mechanical, and hazardous material items used for mission support.
This position is located at Wright Patterson Air Force Base (WPAFB), Ohio and is within a commutable distance from Beavercreek, Fairborn, Dayton, and Riverside. Level 1: $36,920

#LI-HB1Essential Job Responsibilities Compiling and maintaining records concerned with quantity, cost, and type of material in stock
Ordering new material to maintain stock at appropriate levels
Working with engineers and technicians to identify new material that needs ordered
Maintaining an inventory database and generating quarterly reports
Ensuring proper storage and disposal of HazMat
Monitoring shelf life and obtaining Material Data Safety Sheets of HazMat
Attending annual training to maintain certifications necessary to accomplish duties.
Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment.
Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations.
Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance.
Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring
Maintains effective customer communications, relations, and provides onsite training.
Additional duties include: Assuming the role of shipping logistics manager to transfer material CONUS and OCONUS.
Desired qualifications include:
Ability to obtain/maintain a commercial driver's license (CDL) with a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate (MCSA-5876). Minimum Qualifications Familiar with software to include but not limited to: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point, Teams, etc.) Inventory control software (TCMax) (familiar or willing to learn)
Must be willing to support flexible work hours to provide mission support.
Ability to adapt to changing working conditions and challenging environments
Must be willing to travel for extended periods of time. Deployment times will vary and typically last between two to three weeks.
Must be able to bend, reach, stoop and lift up to 50 lbs.
Must be able and willing to work outside in adverse weather conditions.

CONUS Clearance:
Must be able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance with enhanced security checks
Secret clearance minimum to start Level 1: Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 0 years experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years related experience.
Level 2: Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 1 year of related experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 3 years related experience.
Level 3: Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 3 years of related experience; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 5 years related experience.
Level 4: Associates Degree or other 2 year technical degree in related discipline and 6 years related experience or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years related experience. Physical Requirements Able to work in a variety of environments including office, industrial, laboratory, and outdoors
Capable of climbing ladders and tolerating confined spaces
