Job Summary:
Ensures products, materials, and processes meet established quality standards through inspections, testing, and data analysis.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Conducting inspections and tests on raw materials, in-process items, and finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications. 2. Documenting and reporting inspection results, deviations, and nonconformance issues to support process improvements and regulatory compliance. 3. Collaborating with production to troubleshoot issues, implement corrective actions, and improve manufacturing processes. 4. Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function and assigned task satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, competency, and/or abilities required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. 1. Minimum of high school diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred. 2. Ability to assess processes, identify defects, and recommend solutions. 3. Strong attention to detail and focus on quality and accuracy. 4. Specializing in metal castings a plus. 5. Must be able to Interact with customers. 6. Must have general computer knowledge. 7. Ability to work on shop floor. 8. Must be able to operate a forklift. 9. Must be able to multi-task and complete assignments on time. 10. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and meet other physical requirements needed for the position. 11. Must be able to follow safety procedures at all times. 12. Must be able to wear required Personal Protective Equipment. Competitive pay based on experience.
