Shift:
11AM - 8PM We are looking for a detail-oriented Quality Technician to join our growing team! This position helps ensure our products meet customer specifications and company quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. In this role, you will perform inspections, audits, testing, and quality documentation activities while partnering with production teams to identify and resolve quality concerns. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Perform incoming, in-process, and final product inspections including fit-ups, welds, and final visual appearance. Verify product conformance to customer specifications, drawings, and quality standards. Conduct dimensional inspections using measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, gauges, and tape measures. Complete quality audits and process verification checks throughout production. Document inspection results and maintain accurate quality records. Investigate nonconforming materials and products. Assist with root cause analysis and corrective action activities. Assist with recording Heat numbers and retrieving related MTR's. Support containment activities when quality issues arise. Work closely with production personnel to address quality concerns and improve processes. Maintain compliance with ASME, customer, and company quality requirements. Participate in continuous improvement projects and quality initiatives. Assist with training production employees in quality standards and inspection requirements. Follow all safety procedures and company policies.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection experience in a manufacturing environment. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. Experience using inspection and measuring equipment. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Experience in metal fabrication, welding, machining, or industrial manufacturing. Knowledge of ASME quality systems. Experience with root cause analysis and corrective action processes. Associate degree or technical certification in Quality, Manufacturing, or related field.
