Job Description

Quality Control (QC) Technician / Inspector Job Summary $23-26.00/HR 1st Shift Climate Controlled Shop We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control (QC) Technician to inspect and verify manufactured equipment containing both electrical and mechanical components. The ideal candidate will ensure products meet quality standards, engineering drawings, and customer requirements while working closely with production, engineering, and management teams. Key Responsibilities Perform quality inspections on manufactured equipment with electrical and mechanical components Inspect assemblies, subassemblies, and finished products for workmanship, functionality, and compliance Read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and specifications Identify and understand electrical and mechanical symbols used in drawings and documentation Verify materials, components, and wiring against drawings and bills of materials (BOMs) Document inspection results, non-conformances, and corrective actions Communicate quality issues clearly and professionally with production and engineering teams Support continuous improvement efforts and help resolve quality-related problems Ensure compliance with company quality standards, procedures, and safety requirements Required Skills & Qualifications Experience in quality control or inspection in a manufacturing environment Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical components Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and symbols Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Proven ability to work effectively as a team player Comfortable using basic measurement and inspection tools Basic computer skills for documentation and reporting Experience with electrical, mechanical, or industrial systems ( for example QC, assembly, maintenance, etc.) Experience inspecting industrial equipment, machinery, or control panels Familiarity with quality standards
