Job Description
Engineering & Quality Technician Adtech Motors - Wayne, Oklahoma Adtech Motors is looking for a hands-on Engineering & Quality Technician to work closely with and support our Engineer while helping strengthen our manufacturing and quality processes. This is a unique role combining CAD drafting, precision measurement, manufacturing support, and quality control. You won't spend all day behind a desk—you'll work directly with our Engineer and spend significant time on the manufacturing floor measuring parts, troubleshooting issues, inspecting components, and working alongside our manufacturing team. At Adtech, we engineer, design, manufacture, assemble, inspect, test, and support our products all under one roof. You'll have the opportunity to see your work go from a drawing to the shop floor to a finished product—and help us continually make it better. What You'll Do Support our Engineer with drawings, technical projects, and product improvements. Update, revamp, and create CAD drawings and manufacturing prints. Measure existing components and translate measurements into accurate drawings and specifications. Perform detailed dimensional inspections using precision and specialty measurement equipment . Help implement and maintain a new quality control program , including first-piece, in-process, and final inspections. Develop inspection procedures, checklists, records, gauges, and quality documentation. Inspect new, used, and returned tooling for wear, tooling life, damage, and potential failure points . Assist Engineering with failure analysis, root-cause investigation, and product improvements. Troubleshoot dimensional, tooling, and manufacturing issues directly on the shop floor. Work with machinists and technicians to improve manufacturability, consistency, and quality. What We're Looking For CAD drafting/design experience. Manufacturing or machine-shop experience. Strong ability to read and interpret manufacturing drawings. Experience with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, indicators, bore gauges, height gauges, and other specialty measuring equipment. Understanding of dimensions, tolerances, and fits; GD&T knowledge is a plus. Quality control, inspection, or metrology experience preferred. Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving ability. Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working both at a computer and on the manufacturing floor.
