09/05/2026 Job Description Job Description SUMMARY Perform various prescribed duties to inspect verify machined parts against engineering drawings and tolerances.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

As per ISO procedure and standards prepare and maintain all reports, certificates and documentation pertaining to inspection. Observe all company policies and regulations including safety, housekeeping, and quality of work with support of ISO procedures and standards. Utilize individually and/or further the use of total quality concepts, tools, and techniques to support continuous quality improvement in all processes in which the position participates with a positive "Can Do" attitude.General:
Work from prescribed procedures, work orders, written and verbal instructions. Document inspection process and prepare reports as required. Administer all inspection methods and procedures. Manage workload to achieve production schedules and ensure completion within time frame. Coordinate with production and engineering departments for internal and external customers. Responsible for reporting any change in quality, unsafe operating conditions immediately to his/her supervisor. Perform other duties as requested or necessary to meet business conditions and changes. Support, encourage and maintain a positive team working atmosphere throughout the company.Technical:
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) call outs. Strong knowledge of GD&T perASME Y14.5.
Proficient in using Micrometers, Calipers, Height Gages, and Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Maintain control and traceability related to inspection.QUALIFICATIONS
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. EDUCATION and/orEXPERIENCE
High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or two to five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. 2 - 5 years minimum experience in quality control inspection of manufactured metal products - recent bridge type of CMM experience is highly preferred Ability to read and comprehend blueprints / design drawings to extract dimensional data to be checked against Knowledge of GD&T symbolsLANGUAGE SKILLS
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions in English, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations and other employees of the organization.MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to draw and interpret bar graphs.REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
