In face of new projects and acquisitions, we are searching for a Quality Technician to join our team in our Beloit, WI facility.
Role:
Quality Technician (Full-Time)- Second Shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) The Quality Technician (QT) is expected to be a self-motivated, focused, and flexible individual with a positive approach to quality and risk mitigation. This individual must be able to navigate a fast-paced manufacturing environment, reliably complete assigned duties, as well as proactively identify potential quality issues in a manufacturing environment and follow through with actions to resolve them. Communication with all departments within the organization is paramount. The Quality Technician will report to the Quality Manager and be expected to perform tasks listed in this job description or as assigned.
Responsibilities:
•This is a non-exhaustive overview of the job duties for this position. Assist Production Supervisor in ensuring production is conducted utilizing cGMP Complete and/or oversee laboratory in-process testing which includes Moisture and salt Particle size pH Analysis Moisture content Colorimeter Oversee laboratory conditions and maintain inventory Conduct instrument verifications as required Submit samples to 3rdparty laboratories Maintain Spray-Tek retain inventory Sample finished product containers as needed Participate in internal facility audits Conduct environmental monitoring swabbing Perform sanitizer concentration checks Verify refrigerated trailer temperatures Conduct allergen verifications Conduct water sampling and testing In addition, the Quality Technician will support the following activities as needed: Documentation updates Quality investigations Trial support
Required Skills/Experience:
Knowledge and experience in cGMPs, pharmaceutical/food manufacturing a plus Experience in food safety is a plus Strong computer skills. Experience with Microsoft Outlook and Excel required Attention to detail and ability to prioritize projects and workload Must be able to identify issues and communicate with all departments within the organization to get them resolved Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Must be able to work in a physically demanding environment Lift 50 lbs Traverse multiple levels of stairs Work in a non-climate-controlled environment Associates Degree is science background or 1-5 years experience in a cGMP environment
