This company produces steel shot and grit in various sizes and maintains a friendly, team-oriented work environment. This is a hands-on lab position with full training provided. The role is to gather and prepare product samples for testing. Schedule Standard Schedule (No Weekend Work): Monday•

Double Time Key Responsibilities Collect product samples from the plant using a cart system Safely handle materials that may be warm/hot (PPE provided) Record product temperatures from electronic monitoring board Transport samples to the lab to weigh and perform screening using sieve pans and testing machine Measure and record material distribution across screens Use a mount press to test material hardness Polish mounted samples using a grinding machine Document and log all results manually Physical Requirements Standing for the entire shift (anti-fatigue mats provided) Occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
