Primary Purpose of Position This position performs all levels of calibrations, tests, analysis and preparatory tasks as assigned to a given discipline(s). Develops new methodologies and procedures and provides direction to other technicians. This position requires access to Constellation Nuclear Clean Energy Centers including security requirements associated with such access. This position requires a self-directed individual ready to accept a leadership role. Leadership will address a business need that includes a technical expertise and a business process expertise. Primary Duties and Accountabilities Perform complex calibrations, tests and analysis assigned to the technician working team. Conducts independent field investigations. Plans/executes on-site. Performs lead role in specific laboratory disciplines. Interacts with vendors/clients on technical problems. Responsible for determining test methods to be used for new equipment when assigned or calibration formats and procedures. May develop equipment and material specifications. Maintain accurate records of calibration, testing and analytical work performed including required traceability on equipment utilized. Computes, analyzes and records test data. Develop and coordinates software programs to enhance and support discipline functions including automated calibration, data acquisition and electronic calibration records.
