Job Description

Ensure products meet
KYOCERA AVX
defined quality standards, working to improve quality and reliability through interaction with internal/external customers and suppliers. Utilize output data and test results to make recommendations to processes. This position will be responsible for reading and understanding the process specifications, completing process paperwork, performing assigned testing, and other tasks to assist with operations.

Quality Manager
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Carry out incoming inspection of material, in-process inspections, final inspections, including first article inspections. Support the disposition and control of MRB contents. Support RCCA (Root Cause and Corrective Action) activities. Support the calibration/verification processes, including working with outside calibration services. Support RMA processes by carrying out inspections, collaborating on failure analysis, recommendations for improvement.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Requires a high school degree or equivalent
  • 1+ years incoming inspection of material, in-process inspections, final inspections, including first article inspections preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the supply chain.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, well organized and self-motivated.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to be a great team player and accountable to internal customers.
  • Per ITAR Compliance must be a U.
