Location:
Greenville, PA Hodge Foundry specializes in highly engineered complex Grey and Ductile Iron castings ranging from 60,000 to 200,000 pounds. Hodge Foundry continues to supply castings for the global markets of mining, power generation, gas compression, heavy industrial equipment, and infrastructure. As we look to the future and continue to evolve, we are looking for enthusiastic individuals to join our team. We are seeking those who possess a strong desire to work as part of our team, can work safely and efficiently in a heavy industrial environment, are focused on producing quality products for our customers, can follow work instructions, and possess a willingness to learn.
Job Title:
Quality and Lab Technician
DUTIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO
Quality Technician Duties Train to become an ASNT certified technician in the following methods: Ultrasonic Testing Magnetic Particle Testing Visual Testing Dimensional Testing Work to the production schedule to ensure testing results are completed timely Lab Duties Conduct standard mechanical testing procedures for sand, chemistry, or metallography. Cut, mount, and polish metallurgical samples Take and observe photomicrographs Complete sand testing distribution and tensile, sand testing loss on ignition, & mixer calibrations Record data obtained and complete/maintain spreadsheets as required Complete necessary customer paperwork and documentation of testing results Requirements Intermediate level software usage skills in Email, Microsoft Office package Proficient mathematical and measuring skills Process Oriented Strong organizational skills Detailed analytical approach Problem solving and critical thinking ability Why work for Hodge Foundry?
