Basic Function Under minimal supervision, perform a wide variety of duties to support the Quality department. Perform mechanical and/or electrical inspections, test and inspection of incoming material, manufactured parts and final assemblies. Know and apply fundamental concepts of inspection and product quality. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Marginal position functions that are not included among the essential duties and responsibilities in this position description are also requirements of this position. Under minimal supervision, perform electrical and mechanical inspection of incoming or outgoing materials, determine conformance to specifications Inspection of PCBA to confirm compliance to drawings and

workmanship requirements. Use mechanical, optical and electrical measurement equipment to perform inspections to drawing/specifications. Record and distribute inspection results. Generate Non-conforming Material Report (NMR) for inspection rejects and support the NMR process Inspect Incoming First Article samples and complete inspection report Generate Customer First Article and change request documents and submit them to customer or onto customer web-portal. Follow-up and provide additional information as needed. Monitor submittal status and provide updates. Maintain inspection, measuring and test equipment as necessary. Participate in internal, client, or regulatory audits as requested. Serve as back-up employee for finished product inspection. Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and SPC a plus. Support internal audit process. Support company in continuous improvement initiatives. Ability to follow all safety procedures. Regular attendance and ability to get along with others in a team. Other duties as assigned. Education and Experience High School Diploma or GED required. 3-5 years experience in inspection and manufacturing environment required. Current certification to the
IPC-A-610
is preferred or candidate is capable of gaining certification once hired. Must be experienced with dimensional measuring equipment as well as technical and detail oriented. Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) a plus. PC knowledge with Microsoft Windows and basic knowledge of Word and Excel required. Ability to search and navigate through web-based programs preferred. Ability to analyze drawings, sketches, specifications or sample parts to determine dimensions and tolerances preferred.
