Job Description

Quality Inspector 4-Day Workweek | Up to $25.00/hr | Annual Bonus Opportunity TOPS Staffing is hiring a Quality Inspector for a well-established manufacturing company in the Irwin area. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with machining or manufacturing quality experience who enjoys precision measuring, blueprint reading, and ensuring products meet the highest quality standards. Schedule & Pay Monday - Thursday 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (4 x 10-hour schedule) Overtime available on Fridays usually half day can be required when busy.
Pay:
Up to $25.00/hour, based on experience
Bonus Opportunity:
Once hired directly by the company, production employees are eligible for an annual performance bonus that has exceeded $6,000 per year. What You'll Do Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on machined components Inspect parts using precision measuring equipment including calipers, micrometers, gauges, profilometers, and other inspection tools Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications Verify parts meet dimensional and quality requirements Complete inspection reports and quality documentation accurately Identify and document non-conforming materials Work closely with machining and production teams to resolve quality concerns Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-focused work area What We're Looking For Minimum of 2 years of quality inspection or machine shop experience, or equivalent technical training Ability to read and interpret mechanical blueprints and drawings Experience using precision measuring equipment, including calipers and micrometers Experience using a Faro Arm is preferred, but not required Familiarity with inspection documentation and quality procedures Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office); ERP experience is a plus Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift Lift up to 40 pounds as needed Work in a manufacturing environment while following all safety procedures Why Apply? 4-day workweek with three-day weekends most weeks Overtime available to increase earnings Competitive pay up to $25.00/hour Annual production bonus that can exceed $6,000 Stable manufacturing company with long-term career opportunities Team-oriented work environment with opportunities to grow your skills TOPS Staffing is actively interviewing qualified candidates.
