Location:
Leesport, Pennsylvania Shift:
7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 3 days on / 3 days off, then 2 days on / 2 days off (working every other weekend)
Position Overview:
The Production Quality Assurance Specialist will work closely with the Operations team to ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products. This role involves performing equipment start-up and ongoing quality checks, monitoring product and process deviations, and supporting quality initiatives throughout the manufacturing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct equipment start-up inspections and continuous quality checks on various materials. Record and monitor product and process deviations, escalating issues to appropriate personnel as necessary. Perform quality audits on both products and processes to ensure compliance with established standards. Collaborate with Operations to support quality improvement initiatives and manage qualification materials throughout production.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Preferred experience in laboratory or quality assurance within a manufacturing environment. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite. Strong educational background and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to move throughout the facility, including standing and walking for the majority of the shift. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to maintaining and enhancing product quality in a dynamic manufacturing setting.
