Description:
C&J Industries is a full service plastic injection molding contract manufacturer and FDA certified medical device manufacturer. SUMMARY Inspects plastic parts to assure finished product meets customer and C&J quality requirements by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Inspection:
Performs receiving inspection of secondary components and raw material. Performs in-process and final inspection audits. Identifies discrepant material and controls rework. Assists Metrology Gage Lab calibrations and
First Article Inspections Communications:
Works with Engineering, Q.A., Supervisors, and Production personnel to define and communicate quality problems. Reports quality problems to upper management via material review meetings.
Miscellaneous:
Trains Team Leaders to Quality Plans - new and revised. Has authority to release conforming product. Operates various types of
Inspection Testing Equipment Requirements:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Must be willing to continue education to obtain CQI. Must be computer literate and proficient in Word, Excel and Specialized QA Software. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general specifications, blue prints or technical procedures. Ability to communicate with internal and external customers and vendors in a clear and concise manner. Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions and basic statistics to practical situations. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
