Job Description

Hiring 1st Shift Quality Control Inspector in Middletown, PA! Job Description As a Quality Control Inspector, you will be responsible for receiving articles of clothing along with specification sheets, measuring each garment, verifying that it meets the required specifications, and recording all measurement data and inspection results. Your role is critical in ensuring the quality of a backlog of products. Strong skills in reading a tape measure accurately and entering data into a computer are essential. This position will be a 30 - 60 day project with pay rate starting at $25 / hour. The shift consist of working Monday - Saturday. Responsibilities Review and interpret garment specification sheets and measurement charts. Measure garments using appropriate tools and techniques. Verify that products meet established size, fit, and construction requirements. Identify and document defects, inconsistencies, or non-conforming products. Accurately record measurement data and inspection findings. Maintain detailed inspection records and reports. Communicate quality concerns to supervisors and project leadership. Follow company quality standards, procedures, and safety guidelines. Essential Skills Inspection Quality control Quality assurance Visual inspection Ability to read and interpret specification sheets and technical documents Strong attention to detail and accuracy Basic math and measurement skills Proficiency with data entry and recordkeeping Ability to stand, bend, and handle garments throughout the workday Additional Skills & Qualifications Previous quality control, quality assurance, or apparel inspection experience preferred Ability to work independently and meet productivity goals Ability to lift and handle garments and related materials as needed Manual dexterity for measuring, inspecting, and recording Why Work Here? Work Environment The work environment is not climate controlled, requiring the ability to stand and move throughout the workday. You will be working Monday through Friday with mandatory shifts on Saturday. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Middletown, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
