Job Description

SOS Metals Inc. is seeking a dependable, customer-focused Scale House Operator to join our team. This position serves as the first point of contact for customers entering our facility and is responsible for operating the truck scale, processing transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities Operate the truck scale and accurately process inbound and outbound loads. Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner. Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers with questions. Process customer transactions and issue payments. Balance and maintain an accurate cash drawer. Verify identification and complete required paperwork. Maintain organized records and ensure accurate data entry. Communicate with yard personnel and drivers to keep traffic flowing efficiently. Keep the scale house clean, organized, and professional. Follow company policies, safety procedures, and applicable regulations. Perform other administrative and customer service duties as assigned. Qualifications Excellent customer service and communication skills. Honest, trustworthy, and dependable. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Comfortable handling cash and maintaining financial records. Basic computer skills and ability to learn industry software. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Professional attitude with a positive, team-oriented mindset. Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic. What We're Looking For We value employees who: Show up on time and are dependable.
