  • Contract About the Role As a Quality Metrology Technician, you will serve as a critical link in our manufacturing process by ensuring that precision components meet rigorous engineering specifications.
You will leverage your expertise in dimensional inspection and programming to drive quality excellence and support the continuous improvement of our production standards. Responsibilities Develop, refine, and execute complex CMM programs to validate first-article, in-process, and final part integrity. Translate technical blueprints and GD&T requirements into actionable inspection routines to ensure absolute product conformity. Utilize advanced precision measuring tools, including optical comparators and handheld gages, to conduct thorough dimensional analysis. Generate comprehensive quality documentation and FAIR reports to maintain compliance and facilitate seamless customer submissions. Collaborate cross-functionally to identify nonconformances and lead root-cause analysis efforts for corrective action. Uphold the highest standards of measurement accuracy by managing tool calibration and adhering to established quality management systems. Mentor team members on effective print reading and advanced measurement methodologies to elevate overall department capability. Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. 1+ years of hands-on experience in CMM programming and operation. Demonstrated ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T. Proficiency in utilizing precision hand tools and inspection equipment. Preferred Skills Background in precision machining, aerospace, or automotive manufacturing environments. Familiarity with AS9100 or
ISO 9001
quality standards and PPAP processes. Experience with Calypso software or similar metrology platforms. Strong technical documentation skills using Microsoft Office.
