Job Description

About the Role We are seeking a skilled CMM Programmer to develop, validate, and maintain CMM inspection programs, ensuring the highest quality standards in manufacturing. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in PC-DMIS and GD&T to support production, supplier quality, and continuous improvement initiatives. Your work will directly impact product quality and customer satisfaction. Responsibilities Craft and refine CMM inspection programs using PC-DMIS for diverse inspection needs, including production, first article, and validation processes. Translate engineering drawings, CAD models, and GD&T specifications into precise and effective inspection routines. Conduct CMM inspections, interpret the resulting data, and clearly communicate findings to relevant teams. Uphold and enhance CMM programs to accommodate process modifications, tooling updates, and continuous improvement efforts. Guarantee proper fixturing, probe selection, and measurement strategies for consistent and dependable outcomes. Spearhead root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to address quality concerns and prevent recurrence. Contribute to APQP, PPAP, and First Article Inspection (FAI) activities to ensure product compliance and readiness. Champion supplier quality by participating in inspections, driving corrective actions, and monitoring performance metrics. Qualifications Required Skills Associate degree or equivalent experience in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or a related technical field. Minimum of 3 years of practical CMM programming experience using PC-DMIS. Solid grasp of GD&T principles (ASME Y14.5). Proficiency in precision measurement and metrology concepts. Proficient with PC-DMIS programming and troubleshooting. Preferred Skills Experience in aerospace, automotive, medical, or precision machining manufacturing environments. Familiarity with metrology tools such as optical comparators, vision systems, and laser scanners. Experience with PPAP, APQP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA methodologies. Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or
IATF 16949
quality systems.
