Job Description

The Paint Completion Technician is responsible for ensuring job sites are left clean, presentable, and client-ready after painting work is completed. This role focuses on post-paint cleanup, light paint touch-ups, and reporting any visible issues or incomplete items to management. The position supports overall quality standards but does not replace formal supervision or inspection roles. ________________________________________ Key Responsibilities Post-Paint Cleanup Remove paint debris, materials, tape, plastic, and coverings after painters complete work Clean floors, countertops, fixtures, switches, outlets, and adjacent surfaces affected by painting Ensure work areas are left neat, broom-clean, and professional in appearance Light Touch-Ups Perform minor paint touch-ups such as: Small missed spots Light scuffs or roller marks Minor edge corrections Touch-ups are limited to cosmetic corrections and do not include repairs or rework Quality Observation & Reporting Visually review completed areas for obvious defects, damages, or incomplete items Photograph and report issues to the supervisor or office (not correct unless instructed) Complete punch lists or digital reports as required Job Site Standards Confirm areas are ready for client walkthroughs, property management review, or turnover Communicate professionally with supervisors and office staff Follow all company safety and site rules
