Quality Control Technician CW Thomas Philadelphia, PA Job Details Full-time $20 - $25 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Parental leave Vision insurance 401(k) matching Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Dimensional inspection Continuous improvement Attention to detail Data entry Manufacturing Full Job Description Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Quality Control Technician / Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will inspect incoming materials, monitor in-process production, and verify finished products meet customer and company quality standards. This position will begin training on first shift and transition to a second shift schedule. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications Perform dimensional inspections using calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and measuring equipment Inspect incoming materials for compliance with quality standards Conduct in-process and final inspections of manufactured parts Complete First Article Inspection (FAI) reports and related documentation Identify nonconforming material and initiate rework documentation Maintain inspection records and quality logs Communicate quality concerns to production supervisors Support continuous improvement initiatives Ensure compliance with ISO quality standards and company procedures Maintain a safe work environment by following all safety policies Qualifications Experience in quality control, quality assurance, or manufacturing inspection preferred Ability to use precision measuring instruments Strong understanding of mechanical inspection processes Proficient with Microsoft Office and data entry Excellent attention to detail Strong communication and problem-solving skills Experience with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) is a plus Familiarity with
ISO 9001
