Apply today and get hired! We are looking for an experienced Quality Control Technician . The Quality Control Technician is responsible for daily execution of procedures online inspections, SOP enforcement and audits, training, continuous improvement, and ensuring quality standards meet or exceed customer expectations.
Shift:
1st shift 7:00AM - 3:30
PM Salary:
Hourly $15

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Accountable for conducting and enforcing quality processes within the lines Assesses in-line quality, quality assurance, and ensures SOPs are followed Document and conducts visual inspections, assist in identifying defects, and report any quality issues to Quality and Production Supervisors. Monitor cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment Report any defect or issues in products to Quality Supervisor. Conducts daily first-piece inspections from each assembly line with Operations Manager, Process Control Coordinator, and Quality Supervisor Monitors and inspects lot codes and expiration date labels for accuracy and proper information when applicable Assist in following established quality control procedures Ensures compliance with SQF food safety standards Prepares daily reports on defects or errors to document root causes Participate in training on food safety practices and quality assurance Work with Quality Supervisor, reviewing job specifications to ensure production and quality of products meets all specifications. Stops production lines if production is incorrectly performed Support implementation of corrective actions for identified issues. Monitors and ensures implementation of facility safety programs in order to provide a safe and clean workplace for employees within the regulations of all federal, local, and state regulations Other duties may be assigned. SKILLS Strong organizational skills High attention to detail and accuracy Experience working independently and within a team environment Proven ability to develop relationships with management and peers Ability to collect, organize, capability to problem solve and suggest improvements or corrective actions. Understanding of record-keeping and the importance of following procedures Basic knowledge of food safety, understanding of fundamental food safety practices and regulations. Experience creating and reporting daily reports to customers.
