Job Title:

First Article Inspector Job Description The First Article Inspector is responsible for performing First Article Inspections (FAI) and preparing complete documentation in accordance with AS9102 standards for both machine shop and weld/fabrication operations. This role focuses on ensuring product quality through thorough inspection activities, accurate documentation, and adherence to established quality control processes.

Pay:

$40-$50 per hour based on experience

Per Diem:

$160/day Essential Skills Direct First Article Inspection (FAI) quality technician experience. Direct experience working with AS9102 standards and requirements. Hands-on documentation experience related to FAI and AS9102-compliant work. Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inspection and documentation activities. Familiarity with quality inspection practices in machine shop and weld/fabrication environments. Ability to work safely around welding operations, mechanical equipment, and industrial environments. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Pittsburgh, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
