Responsibilities- The Inspector "A" works throughout the facility assuring quality using Ultrasonic Testing, Magnetic Particle Inspection, Eddy Current, chemical etch, measuring tools and gages. The Inspector "A" will inspect parts at the rate required by each operation. Performs all assigned duties not limited to running and calibrating multiple U.T. machines. Regularly is assigned to M.P.I. and Eddy Current through visual inspection to detect product defects. Constantly works with calibrated measuring tools and gages accurately inspecting and documenting. Communicates quality findings with supervision and operators. Reads and comprehends work instructions and blueprints. May be required to perform chemical etching. Repeatedly lifts, loads and unloads chemical tank. Frequently works with hand tools. Operates hand forklift to move inspected material. Knows basic addition, subtraction, division and multiplication. Qualifications- Required Qualifications Any combination of education, training or work-related experience. Physical lifting, pushing and pulling abilities.Similar remote jobs
