Job Description
Universal Stainless & Alloy Products, Inc., in Titusville, PA produces customized shapes primarily for original equipment manufacturers that are cold rolled from purchased coiled strip, flat bar or extruded bar at its Precision Rolled Products department and as well as operates three vacuum-arc remelting furnaces. Universal is committed to providing the best quality, delivery, and service possible.
Verifies all bars in order comply with customer requirements for length, widths, thickness and surface finish and hardness.
Visually inspects bars for compliance with Quality Workmanship Standards QS-038.Properly marks individual identification on each bar.
Properly records all information on the Final Dimensional Report Form.
Able to read and understand work instructions.
Assists shipper as required.
Able to stand for long periods of time.
Tools/equipment used: measuring tape, micrometers, profilometer, air polisher, scale, no-touch tools, crane, tow motor.
