Overview As a Quality Assurance Technician, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that our manufacturing processes and products meet the highest standards of quality. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, implementing quality control measures, and maintaining compliance with industry regulations. To help accomplish this mission a Quality technician is responsible for inspecting customer parts, to ensure customer parts are processed in compliance with the Purchase Order, Drawings, and Specifications. This position will require daily communication with team members and Quality Control Manager. When requested will provide status of parts to Customer Service as well as communicate defects/non-conformance issues to Production Management. Some of the tools and systems used to facilitate this process will be production control software, written and verbal communication.Responsibilities :
Have or gain a basic understanding various types of metal finishes. Have a basic understanding of customer and government specifications. Have the ability to interpret part drawings. Understand instructions that communicate the service to be provided for a given part. Basic understanding of sampling plans. Operate the necessary equipment to perform various inspections. Assist in sorting parts, counting parts, packaging parts. Complete necessary paperwork to support inspection requirements. Assist in chemical analysis of processing solutions as necessary. All other duties as assigned, including working in production Basic qualifications Strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
