Job Description AWS Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) is needed for a manufacturing facility specializing in structural racking systems. This role involves continuous inspection and documentation of manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with
AWS D1.1
standards and company quality requirements. The position requires hands-on oversight of processes including cutting, punching, shearing, stamping, notching, welding, and painting. Welding operations utilize a GMAW Spray Transfer process. Conduct daily floor and weld inspections, including part fit-up, visual inspection, and review of WPS's & PQR's. Ensure compliance with welding credentials, documentation, andAWS D1.1
Structural Welding Code requirements. Perform welder certification testing per AWS D1.1, including minor destructive testing. Prepare and maintain Welder Qualification Records (WQRs), PQRs, WPSs, and inspection records. Monitor welder qualifications and maintain controlled processes, procedures, and specifications. Verify welding equipment functionality and documentation on a daily basis. Interpret fabrication drawings and apply them to inspection activities. Support and maintain the established Quality Assurance Manual. Travel occasionally by car or plane as required.Qualifications:
Required Qualifications AWS CWI or AWI certification (Required - please submit certification number with application). Strong knowledge ofAWS D1.1
Structural Welding Code. ground in manufacturing and welding processes preferred. Strong documentation, inspection, and quality assurance skills. Ability to travel as needed. Additional Requirements Minimum 5 years of welding experience. High school diploma or equivalent (required; post-secondary preferred). Strong penmanship and attention to detail. Computer skills, including MS Office tools. Willingness to travel as required and ability to maintain a personal credit card for expenses. Knowledge of inspection tools and equipment. Clean driving record (must be willing to sign waiver for verification). Strong organizational skills; self-driven and motivated. Why is This aGreat Opportunity :

4:30 PM - 3:00 AM (Mon-Thurs) Full benefits and stable.NO TRAVEL AND NOT CONTRACT- FULL TIME EMPLOYMENT.
