This position will offer a qualified candidate the opportunity to work in Raytheon's Materials and Process Engineering (M&PE) Department, servicing all of Raytheon with innovative solutions to nonstandard problems. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to work in M&PE's world class lab, performing hands-on-testing of adhesives, elastomers, polymers, tapes, composites, metals, and various other production materials vital to the success of our products. What You Will Do Test a wide array of materials for compliance with drawings, specifications, and program applications. Work in a "wet lab," observing all safety procedures and common lab protocols. Write scientific reports using generated data to support technical dispositions.

How to perform material testing using FTIR, DSC, hardness gauges, mechanical testing machines, and more How to follow written test instructions and test a wide array of materials for compliance Reading and interpreting numerous types of requirements and specifications. Qualifications You Must Have Typically requires A University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field. The salary range for this role is 68,900 USD - 131,100 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
