Quality background must be in nutraceuticals, cosmetics, dietary supplements, food or pharmaceuticals. The Quality Control Associate is a member of the quality team, helping to ensure that our dietary supplement products meet FDA regulations and procedures. Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Follow the FDA regulations and procedures under 21 CFR title 111 for warehousing and distribution of dietary supplements, specifically: Components, Packaging, and Label Control Packaging and Labeling Control System Holding and Distributing Inspect Product Returns Monitor Temperature and Humidity Control System within the warehouse Review incoming Raw Material, Components and Finished Goods inbound to the warehouse and prepare for release. Review receiving records from warehouse personnel and accurately verify and record all incoming finished goods as per SOPs. Pull samples listed on Incoming Product Lot Release Guidelines to ensure FDA compliance. Inspect incoming materials for damage, photograph and record any damage on receiving paperwork. Approve incoming materials by confirming specifications and/or conducting a visual inspection. Recommend product for release and/or and rejection. Identify any product defects, determine how to resolve the issue, and immediately report to the Quality Team and the Warehouse Management Team. Tag stored pallets with appropriate tags indicating active status of pallet and its contents. Perform building and facility audits. Collaborate with Warehouse and Quality Team on product returns and disposition. Control Material Destruction procedures when disposition calls for it. Work cross-departmentally with the warehouse team to ensure healthy and effective communication is upheld. Perform other quality-related duties as needed.
Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum of 2+ years' experience in Quality Control in dietary supplements. Overall Quality Control understanding of dietary supplements, cosmetics, food, or pharmaceuticals and current Good Manufacturing Practice (cGMP) Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and recommend appropriate changes (as needed) Proficient with Google Drive Wrike (project management) Ability to maintain confidentiality and work with sensitive documents Ability to interact well with colleagues at all levels Strong organizational skills Effectively adapts to changing priorities Ability to collaborate or work independently depending on assignment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to manage multiple projects at one time Excellent verbal and written communication skills Deep attention to detail A doer personality A passion for health, fitness, and wellness is a plus!

Physical Requirements:
Work involves standing and walking most of the workday. Typing and applying pressure with the fingers and palm. Conveying detailed spoken instructions accurately, clearly, and at times, quickly. The ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech sounds in person and on a device such as a computer or telephone. Reading and writing in English Clarity of vision at approximately 20 inches or less (i.e., reading small print) Repetitive movements (motions) of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers. Lift up to 50 lbs. Carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Bending to lift items from the floor and racks Due to the open environment of the warehouse, must be able to work in various weather and temperature conditions including heat, humidity and cold.
Compensation:
