Quality Management Technician Rimrock Foundation

JOB SUMMARY
Support Rimrock's quality initiatives by demonstrating awareness of regulatory guidelines, CARF, and State or Federal Standards; ensure adherence to guidelines and standards by auditing charts/records; and coach staff to improve quality documentation and record management processes, as it relates to guidelines and standards. In addition, manage incoming requests for information, ensure request is compliant with standards/regulations, and process request.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Knowledge of Federal, State, CARF, and agency standards/rules/regulations, including HIPAA and 42 CFR. Support staff in understanding and adhering to standards. Within defined timelines, process assigned routine chart audits, quality/in-depth chart reviews, and disclosure requests. Report out on findings, trends, and outcomes of audits to appropriate personnel. Based on audit results and/or other concerns, coach identified staff in quality and compliance standards and practices. On an ongoing basis, support staff as it relates to understanding guidelines/standards/regulations and Rimrock's quality improvement efforts. Other duties, such as answering phones, scanning documents, processing messages and other requests for information, and assisting walk-in clients to complete requested tasks, such as completing a Release of Information or fulfilling a records request.
